MnthlyTrx: November 2017

Each month, I search through my PlayMusic account, SoundCloud, websites and other media to put together a list of tracks I have come across and liked.

Brockhampton album coverWith the NBA season starting again, I’ve been delayed finalising a group of songs I’m happy to post.  Eventually it is here, and I feel it’s a good mix between some genuine bands, mixed with electronica and a bit of hip hop thrown in!!  Sure, not a taste for everyone but everyone should find a taste in here – that’s my plan anyway!!

Manchester Orchestra album cover

Pharrell Williams has N.E.R.D back together and their track Lemon kicks things off.  So starting in hip hop, I stay there with Brockhampton to follow in the list.  Bootsy Collins‘ track Hot Saucer was a little gem that is sure to get feet tapping.  Manchester Orchestra and their album A Black Mile To The Surface is one I’ve enjoyed lately, so I added the track The Gold here.  Then moving into the synth and electronic tracks via George Maple and her offering Sweeter Than I, Calvin Harris, Banks, SAFIA and Peking Duk also getting a mention in here.

The tunes can all be heard via my list created in PlayMusic.  If using other streaming services, the list is below so feel free to check them out…
